We all fail. Just sayin.

Soo, it's been a really long time since any of us posted. Which is lame because GH has been getting good lately, and JaSam have been awkwardly awesome. I have no excuse, as I do absolutely nothing all day every day. But, whatevs, I'm posting now.

So, carnival, fuckawesome. I love it. Friday's episode was fun all around. The dunk-a-hunk was great. Everyone was totally cute in it. Even people who I usually find boring (Scrubs) and people who I usually hate (Sonny). Molly is totally my girl. She cleaned up. Plus we got to see some very sexy men in wet t-shirts. (Not included in the sexy category? Ethan. Ick, Milo Ventimiglia crooked-faced lookalike. No offense Nathan Parsons. [Haha, yeah, there's no way that's not offensive. Sorry dude.]) The whole carnival was just all-around fun, and I know we're gonna get to the dramz on Tuesday, but for now, I'm going to revel in the happy times of all the cast just chillin' in the same vicinity and having a good time. Big thumbs up, GH. (Niz/Becca/Lucky the doof fails, but that was very minimal.)

My new love is Dante/Lulu. They are unadulterated chemistry and adorable. Dominic Zamprogna seems to have chemistry with everyone he is in a scene with. He's fantastic, and the writing team is actually doing a fantastic job with a newb for once. It's weird to like Lulu this much, especially when i want to poke Maxie's eyes out half the time, but I'm just gonna go with it cause Dante/Lulu make me smile big time. I love the playfulness, and, I don't care what any character says, Dante's cockiness is nothing like Sonny's. His is totally a playful, self-deprecating cockiness. It sexy and sweet. I also totally loved the Lulu/Carly/Olivia girl talk. GH doesn't do fun stuff like that enough. Dante/Lulu and Dante himself are pure awesome.

And, of course, I can't post after this long without mentioning the total love and sex and squee that is JaSam. The love scene was sexy in JaSam's usual understated way. Honestly, the first day of it, with just him cleaning the grease off of her and the kiss was hotter than the next day with the shirtless and everything. Although, straddle kiss and neck kissage was definitely hot in its own right. The whole thing was just fantastic straight through to the awkwardness then and the awkwardness now. They're so totally in love and they don't know what to do with themselves. Jason can't be in the same vicinity as Sam without wanting to devour her. He looks at her with total sex in his eyes. Poor boy has been left with blue balls every day this week. I love my old school JaSam, but did we need to bring back the interruptions so thoroughly?

I can't wait for next week.

PS, and also, he wants to go with *her*. Gah. Love.

Ok. That's all. I'll try to be better about posting.

Interesting shift

So, I was pretty happy with GH on Tuesday and Wednesday. I got some great JaSam, and some Sam with her family. I love it. I think we've finally caught up to KeMo as far as filming schedule goes, so, other than her Africa thing, I think we're good to go on that front. So I was pretty happy through mid-week.

And then came Thursday. And I was a very unhappy camper. It probably was partially to do with me being super tired, slightly hung over, and already a little pissy. (I'd had about a million travel fiascos on my way back to the burbs from the city.) But I was not interested in a single thing that was going on. Every story line was boring me to the point of anger. I turned the whole thing off ten minutes early and deleted it.

On Friday, I was poised to delete without watching unless someone told me Sam was on. She was, and I think that's fortunate. I still am completely uninterested in every story line, but I made a discovery. I'm not hating on the characters so much right now. With the exception of Sonny, who is just a scum bag, I'm pretty ok with them. I don't love them all, but no one is making me want to light myself on fire. Just the writers are doing that.

Michael is actually not letting everyone around him coddle and spoil and justify for him (though Mac is an idiot, they had literally nothing to arrest him on), so for now, I'm ok with him. I'm still wary, cause my hate for that one was strong. Claudia, I'm feeling sympathy for (good job, SJB), so, while I don't expect a sudden change right now, I don't hate her. Kristina is doing the wrong thing, but I can understand her, and I loved her stuff with Sam yesterday. The only person I really hate is the Mayor's wife, and I'm supposed to.

It's not all sunshine and bunnies, obviously. I'm sure when Spixie comes back, they'll continue to annoy me. Same for Rebecca and Ethan. I wish Jason would have told Sonny where to go when he told him to go "break up" with Olivia. And Olivia's insistance on destroying the hotness that is Jolivia for whatever she's feeling about Sonny is obnoxious. (Not to mention Sonny himself.) But that's all pretty minor considering I usually hate just about everyone. Of course, I hate the plots, and the writing sucks, but, you know, one small step. And I'll cross my fingers that the writers will take a few more.

Random love? Johnny was adorable with Morgan.

Also...

I forgot this in my last post, but it made me laugh. The following is a conversation with my brother while we were watching the last JaSam segment today.

Brother: Are they gonna do it?
Me: *sighs* Probably not.
Brother: Why not?

You're preaching to the choir, Brother.

We've all been waiting and waiting.

So, there's lots I could say about GH right now, but I think I'm going to focus on the good. Because, I'm all smiley about it, and I don't want to ruin that by getting all ranty.

So... JaSam. Love. I was so disappointed that we didn't get the start of it on Friday. So much so that I cursed Michael Jackson a little bit, and I don't care how inappropriate that is. Although maybe it was better that we didn't get that tiny taste of it on Friday and have to wait all weekend with our appetites teased.

So, let's talk about why it was so amazing. Even that first day where it was just a minute there was some good stuff. Jason saying she was taller was my favorite. Because it meant he notices her. And it's not like her normal shoes are flats. She is the queen of inappropriate foot wear. I also loved how coy Sam was. It was so, "Oh, yeah, I have to take off my jacket to find my phone..." *wink* Adorable.

But today was a piece of JaSam art. Today was definitely the very best of the new scenes. Just the fact that the theme of today was love made me all smiles for the JaSam. But then they were fun and flirty and there was eyesex all over that pent house. Jason hasn't smiled and laughed like that in years because no one else can bring that out in Stone Cold. Love. Also, he was checking her out like whoa, but trying so hard to hide it.

And then there was the anvil... I don't like Spixie. At all. But I love that they lead to Sam's anvilicious line of the week. She's been waiting and waiting, Jason's been waiting and waiting, and so have we. And the payoff is going to be big. (Hopefully in the form of a real deal sex scene.)

So, yeah, love the JaSam. The other thing I've been consistently loving lately is Johnny and Jolivia. Which is odd, since I used to be maximum bored with Johnny, and I hated Olivia. But he's been less obsessed with Claudia lately, so that improved him a lot, and he's also been the only honest character about Sonny and all the mob stuff. I don't know, he's just been great lately. I've loved his stuff with Jason. Olivia, I mostly only like with Johnny, though I have liked her dynamic with Dantenic, even if he does look old enough to be her twin brother. I like that she told Sonny to get the fuck out today, but I am under no illusions that it's going to last. Sonny is a woman ruiner.

I think that's all for today. Except that Sarah Brown is amazing and, therefore, I can no longer wish Claudia dead. Instead I will wish for some sort of character over-haul that will make me not want to vomit when I watch her. Wish me luch on that one.
